Yogyakarta, as one of the cities that serves as a base for political party supporters, has a kind of obligatory celebration during election periods: street parades with loud, roaring exhausts. The origins of this practice are unclear, as is its correlation to the candidates they support, yet it continues to be carried out.

This work attempts to critique such behavior. In the end, the leaders they celebrate so enthusiastically are not necessarily willing to defend their rights once in power. To defend them as loudly as the exhausts that dominate the campaign processions.
